FIND AND CONNECT WITH SOUTH KOREAN COMMUNITIES IN CANADA
Koreans make up a significant portion of Canada’s newcomers, and are one of the largest immigrant groups in the country. The majority of Koreans have come to the country in the past fifty years or so. Today, there are approximately 200,000 Korean-born individuals in Canada.
Apart from working in a variety of different industries in Canada, many South Koreans come to Canada to study, and the community is a substantial part of Canada’s international student population. Many Koreans have settled in Toronto, and this is evident from the busy and vibrant Koreatown neighbourhood in the city.
