Terms of Sale 

These terms of sale specifically relate to tickets purchased online and/or free online registration for Newcomers Canada Job FairsNewcomers Canada Job Fairs include the Newcomers Canada Fair and any other event run and/or owned by Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc.

These terms of sale are very important, so please make sure you read them and don’t register to attend an event and/or purchase ticket(s) for a Newcomers Canada Job Fairs unless you agree to them. By proceeding to register for a Newcomers Canada Job Fairs and/or purchasing tickets online for an Newcomers Canada Job Fairs you will be deemed to have accepted these terms. Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. may also modify this agreement at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting the modified agreement on the website. These terms were last updated 5 May 2016. 

1. Who we are

Newcomers Canada is owned by Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. 

2. Scope of this agreement

These terms of sale as well as access to our website are governed by our terms and conditions. This page states our terms of sale (“Terms”) and they are between Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. and you (“You”). You must read them carefully. For the purposes of this agreement the words “NewcomersCanada.ca”, “Newcomers Canada”, “Network”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”, “Expo”, “Exhibitions”, “Exhibition”, “Event”,  and “Events” refers to Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc.. “Website” or “Website(s)” refers to material delivered through NewcomersCanada.ca. 

3. Updated for amended terms

Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of these terms at any time and make changes to the products, services, content, rates and packages described on the website(s) at any time and without notice or liability. Please check periodically for changes, we will always post the date our terms have been updated on. Your continued use and/or access to this website following changes to this policy and/or conditions will mean that you accept those changes.  If you reside in Canada - If you reside in Canada and are using Newcomers Canada, the laws governing this agreement will be the laws in the Commonwealth of Canada, specifically the Provincial Laws of British Columbia and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its Courts.  

4. Our terms of sale

These terms of sale set out the terms and conditions that apply to all purchases of tickets for Newcomers Canada Job Fairs including complimentary tickets, competition tickets and/or free online registration tickets, and are also part of the general terms and conditions of this website. 

Ticket Price 

Ticket prices are clearly displayed for each event and this is the total cost per person per exhibition or event. Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. does not have any hidden charges or booking fees. Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. absorbs credit card merchant fees as well as third party ticket agent fees. Any fees charged in addition to the cost of the ticket should be brought to the attention of Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. Children under 16 years of age, accompanied by an Adult will be admitted free of charge. All ticket prices are stated in the local currency of the event unless otherwise stated. All prices include GST (Goods and Services Tax) at the prevailing rate unless otherwise stated. 

Receiving your e-tickets 

Tickets purchased online through this website are available to print by accessing the link contained in the confirmation email you receive or by accessing your EventBrite.com Account. This confirmation email is YOUR e-TICKET. Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. does not issue printed tickets. Please print this e-Ticket and bring it with you to the exhibition. Tickets will also be accepted on Smart Phones as all online tickets are verified upon entry to the exhibition. Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. currently uses EventBrite.com to process and email tickets to attendees on behalf of Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. events. You maybe subject to additional Terms of Sale from EventBrite.com. Payments for online tickets are made through PayPal and you may also be subject to additional Terms and Conditions from Paypal.com.  

Lost Tickets 

If you have misplaced your printed ticket or deleted the confirmation email, don’t worry as Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. has your details on file. All online tickets are verified upon entry to the exhibition so please give your name at the entrance and make sure you have valid photographic ID. You will not be admitted to the exhibition without ID

Cancelled Events 

Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. reserves the right to amend the exhibition/event dates or venue location at anytime. Ticket holders will receive advanced notice of any changes by email. Occasionally exhibitions/events maybe cancelled by Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. due to circumstances beyond their control. Should this occur, please contact us for information on the procedure for receiving a refund for your ticket(s). Refunds are at the sole discretion and control of Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. Refund limitations may be introduced if the exhibition/event is changed, relocated or rescheduled. Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. will not be liable for any direct or indirect losses arising as result of such cancellation, including but not limited to, travel or accommodation costs incurred. 

Refunds 

There are no refunds on tickets purchased (including but not limited to, where an individual is ill or their circumstances have changed) except as required by applicable laws. If a refund is granted or required by law, any booking fees incurred by Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. will not be refunded. In the event of a ticket purchased online being misplaced, damaged or the email confirmation being deleted, don’t worry as Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. has your details on file. All online tickets are verified upon entry to the exhibition so please give your name at the entrance and make sure you have valid photographic ID. 

Re-Sale of Tickets not permitted 

No ticket may be resold at a premium, used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes without formal written authorization from Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc.. Any breach of this term will result in you or the ticket holder being refused admission and/or being ejected from the exhibition. 

Attendance 

Tickets purchased online are available to print by accessing the link contained in the confirmation email or by accessing your EventBrite.com Account (If you have set one up). If multiple copies of e-tickets are printed, only the first to be scanned will allow admission. Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject you or the ticket holder from the exhibition, without compensation to you, in circumstances where Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. considers it has cause. This includes (without limitation) where you engage in conduct that unreasonably interferes with the running of the exhibition. You must comply with all security requirements of the exhibition including (without limitation) not taking photographs or videoing without permission, recording seminars or exhibitors comments without first obtaining their approval. Failure to comply may result in your equipment being confiscated. 

No Soliciting Policy

Attending the exhibition is for personal information use only and Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. reserves the right to refuse admission and/or to eject you or the ticket holder for soliciting exhibitors and/or visitors, without compensation to you, in circumstances where Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. considers it has cause. Soliciting includes (without limitation) distributing third party company marketing material to visitors or exhibitors without the permission of Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc.. 

Online Account

Registering to attend a Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. Event will automatically create an Online Account. An Online Account will automatically be setup for you using the details supplied by you using our online ticketing system, currently supplied by EventBrite.com. Alternatively, an Online Account will automatically be setup on your behalf if you use our Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. registration portal upon entry to a Newcomers Canada Job Fairs. Event. An Online Account that is setup for the purposes of attending a Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. Event, otherwise known as an EVENT REGISTRATION forms part of our Event Database and overall Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. Database. 

Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. works with a carefully selected group of partners and sponsors, otherwise known as EVENT SPONSORS & PARTNERS. As part of your registration for a Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. event, you agree that Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. may share your personally identifying information with our EVENT SPONSORS & PARTNERS. If you have registered for a Newcomers Canada Job Fairs and do not wish to be contacted by our carefully selected EVENT SPONSORS & PARTNERS, please email Newcomers Canada Job Fairs Inc. at contact@newcomerscanada.ca stating Remove from EVENT DATABASE. Please review our Privacy Policy Statement for further details on Online Accounts and how we treat your personally identifiable information.
