In March, the Government of Canada released new data on how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the country’s population estimates. The data revealed that the population growth rate was the lowest since 1916 because of the pandemic. This is due to a combination of factors including an increased death rate, and a decrease in international migration. Here’s a snapshot of the findings:
